Announcing the PCIAW® Award Winners 2025

On the night of the 30th October 2025, the PCIAW® Awards once again illuminated the industry’s commitment to pushing boundaries, celebrating unparalleled excellence and technological leadership across the entire professional clothing supply chain.

This year’s event gathered one of the industry’s largest, most influential networks of leaders and experts, firmly promoting the innovators whose collaboration and expertise are actively shaping a safer, more sustainable, and technologically advanced future for the global professional clothing sector.

Dishang Group UK showcased how digital innovation is redefining garment creation, unveiling the future of functional workwear with a fully virtual runway experience, bringing ‘concept to catwalk’ with digital avatars, while United Airlines by Brooks Brothers presented collections where refined performance meets modern function, including a lightweight puffer with Thermore padded fill designed to attach seamlessly to the Tech Coat.

Eurostar dazzled with a distinctive blend of heritage and contemporary style, featuring sharp navy tailoring, bold green Doc Martens, and a statement kilt, alongside the comprehensive safety display by Cooneen Group who showcased the female-fit, NHS Ambulance Service uniforms, followed by female-fit soft body armour that was featured on active firefighters from the London Fire Brigade using Dupont’s Kevlar® EXO™ technology for maximum protection and flexibility.

Gore-Tex Brand and Arco closed the show, featuring the Openreach female-fit engineer hi-vis collection, designed to maintain Class 3 certification and ensure enhanced mobility for the female form.

Hosts Nisha Muire, Uniform Program Manager at Air Canada, and Sophie Lydia Perkins, Associate Chartered Building Surveyor, AtkinsRéalis, seamlessly guided attendees through a spectacular showcase of professional clothing innovation, masterfully presenting each collection and illuminating the defining design features and technological leaps that set them apart.

After the PCIAW® Fashion show and gala dinner, hosts Nisha Muire and Sophie Lydia Perkins started the awards ceremony, handing out trophies to over 19 winners over the course of the night, including two awards where the judges’ total scores tied evenly. A Special Recognition was alsoawarded with a colour bouquet of flowers.

Professional Clothing Design Awards

1) Public Service Uniform Design Award

Cooneen Group has secured the Public Service Uniform Design Award for revolutionising Transport for London’s ‘ONE FAMILY Range’ by prioritising true inclusion and diversity at every stage, delivering a high-performance, comfortable collection that proudly serves all colleagues.

Gresham Blake Studios & The Standard Brussels

Gresham Blake Studios takes the Retail & Hospitality Uniform Design Award for their work with The Standard Brussels, seamlessly blending high-fashion aesthetics with the essential durability and comfort required for demanding long shifts, ensuring the staff’s look perfectly matches the luxury service they deliver.

3) Luxury Brand Uniform Design Award

Brooks Brothers & United Airlines

Brooks Brothers wins the Luxury Brand Uniform Design Award for their inspired collection for United Airlines, successfully blending the requirements of a highly functional wardrobe with the uncompromising aesthetic and quality standards that a luxury brand transformation demands.

4) Inclusive Professional Clothing Design Award

W. L Gore & Associates, Arco and Openreach

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. in collaboration with Arco and Openreach secures the Inclusive Professional Clothing Design Award for their ground-breaking project that successfully provided women in engineering with protective clothing designed specifically for optimal fit and form, setting a new standard for diversity in professional wear.

PPE Innovation Awards

Regatta Professional is the Joint First Place Winner of the HI-Vis PPE Innovation Award for their range that elevates the concept of being seen, championing sustainability while setting a new standard for visibility with their impressive ID Reflect technology.

6) Defence & Security PPE Innovation Award

AXFILIA and Ace Link Armour

AXFILIA and Ace Link Armour clinch the Defence & Security PPE Innovation Award for their Thermacore system, a state-of-the-art technology that introduces a passive thermal regulator for ballistic armour, representing a mission-critical advancement in protection and performance.

7) Fire & Rescue PPE Innovation Award

Cooneen Group & UK National Resilience Fire & Rescue Team

Cooneen & The UK National Resilience Fire & Rescue Team secure the Fire & Rescue PPE Innovation Award for their specialised body armour designed for the female fit, ensuring equal and uncompromising protection for all firefighters facing the most severe and demanding high-risk scenarios.

8) Extreme Weather PPE Innovation Award

9) Footwear PPE Innovation Award

Tuffking is awarded the Footwear PPE Innovation Award for their Enforcer Riot Boot, which pushes new boundaries in safety performance and accessibility by integrating advanced safety components and rigorous quality tests to deliver truly inclusive size ranges.

13) State of the Art Manufacturer Award

Dishing Group is named the winner of the State of the Art Manufacturer Award, not for its mere capacities, but for its advanced capabilities in production, driving digital efficiency, enhancing supply chain control, and championing environmental responsibility across its operations.

14) Sustainable & Ethical Manufacturer Award

Calvelex wins the Sustainable & Ethical Manufacturer Award for combining high-quality manufacturing with ethically conscious practices, championing best practices in waste reduction and achieving industry-leading closed-loop recycling of textile waste in production.

Workwear Solutions International and Civil Defence Ireland

Workwear Solutions International and Civil Defence Ireland are the Joint First Place Winner of the Best Technical Services Award for their delivery of comprehensive, large-scale technical services in the public sector, successfully translating critical specifications into life-saving uniforms with high levels of attention to detail and execution.

Industry Recognition Awards

17) Industry Newcomer Award

Rebekah Bradley

Rebekah Bradley, now with Workwear Solutions International, is the recipient of the Industry Newcomer Award, being recognised for her lightning-fast transition to high-level consultant and her talent for delivering technical assessments and specification illustrations that guarantee a powerful future for the professional clothing industry.

18) The John Miln Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award, named after founding Chairman John Miln, is proudly presented to Nisha Muira, Chair of the Uniform Buyers’ Network, whose unwavering enthusiasm, expertise, and dedication have driven vital industry action for the Air Canada Uniform Program and inspired countless fellow buyers in the professional clothing industry.

A Special Recognition

Karen Burrows

We would like to give a special tribute to one of our Board Directors, Karen Burrows, who is being honoured by Madeia for celebrating a remarkable 40-year milestone in her career. Having previously been the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021, the Embroidery Training Room at Madeia UK has now been named after her—a testament to her outstanding service. On behalf of PCIAW, thank you for everything you have done for the association and for being a valued part of the Board.
