Over the past few months, Ansell have spoken a lot about Sustainability and their goals to foster positive social and environmental change in sustainable safety.
By exploring new ways to operate sustainably and transform our business, our story is constantly developing, and this is only the beginning. Beyond ensuring people’s physical protection, we have a duty to protect the world we live in. From raw material sourcing and waste management to packaging and community investment, our ambitions are considerable but our commitment to innovation and safety standards remains the same. Having identified far-reaching strategic priorities, we will implement increasingly sustainable practices and continue to develop smarter, more connected PPE, to safeguard not only workers’ welfare but the world around us too.
What Sustainability means to us
Throughout our operations and supply chain, we uphold the highest possible standards. This is why our Sustainability targets are reflected at every Ansell facility, from Lithuania to Sri Lanka, and across our global supplier network. As an international manufacturing company, we understand that local concerns play a policy-shaping role. Our “big-small” culture allows us to scale local and global initiatives company-wide, among which:
- ‘Zero Waste to Landfill’ by 2023 – For less wasteful manufacturing;
- ‘Packaging Pledge’ – For 100% recycled or compostable materials by 2026
These are just two examples of the many goals and activities helping us achieve a more sustainable future, more of which we will be covering in the coming weeks and months.

“We are passionate about protecting people, setting ambitious goals to transform our company, to sustainably protect both employees and the environment we live in.”
