With DOMO’s Engineered materials portfolio combined under the new TECHNYL umbrella, De Monchy International B.V. now represents the entire TECHNYL product family in the Benelux, in addition to the already available PA6-based portfolio. The partnership will have a strong focus on new business development, with both PA6 & PA66 based solutions.
As of today, De Monchy International B.V. will represent the entire Technyl PA66 product portfolio of DOMO Chemicals in the Benelux. PA66 is a key material for numerous industries. Where polyamide in general is an excellent plastic thanks to a combination of rigidity and impact resistance, polyamide 66 offers reduced moisture absorption. This makes it an excellent thermoplastic for such sectors as automotive & transportation, building & construction, electrical & electronics (E&E), sports leisure and industrial applications.
“Our collaboration with De Monchy International B.V. is very solid,” said Andrea Rizzo, Director Distribution at DOMO. “They are a professional partner, with a strong technical background, serving as market consultants and positioning our performing solution in high end applications. The Benelux area is well served through their specialist expertise, as well as their technical and logistics services.”
Both companies believe that the PA66 market has great growth potential. Thanks to its rigidity and heat resistance, PA66 plays a significant role in such markets as automotive, sports & leisure, electronics, and high-voltage cables and accessories.
“As a distributor of technical raw materials, we have had a strong and successful relationship with DOMO Chemicals for years,” said Paul Hendriks, Business Unit Manager Plastics, at De Monchy International B.V.. “We are therefore very pleased with the expansion of our cooperation. With the addition of Technyl PA66 to our product portfolio, we are sure to be able to serve our partners in various industries even better.”
