Ecomondo 2026 PCIAW Delegation

PCIAW, in partnership with Ecomondo and ALSEA Business Media, is inviting expressions of interest from members to join a limited and exclusive professional clothing industry delegation to Ecomondo 2026 in Rimini, Italy, from 3–6 November.

For organisations working across professional clothing, workwear, uniforms, PPE and the wider textile supply chain, the transition towards more circular products presents some very particular challenges.

Performance, durability and safety cannot be compromised. At the same time, organisations are increasingly having to consider how garments are designed, sourced, used, recovered and ultimately reused or recycled.

This is why we believe Ecomondo 2026 offers PCIAW members a particularly timely opportunity.

Why Ecomondo for the professional clothing industry?

Ecomondo is the international trade fair dedicated to the green, blue and circular economy, bringing together industry, technology providers, innovators, policymakers and organisations developing practical solutions to ecological transition.

Of particular relevance to PCIAW members is Ecomondo’s expanding Textile District – a dedicated hub covering the whole textile value chain and focusing on:

● Circular product design and eco-design

● Sustainable yarns, fabrics, apparel and nonwovens

● Pre- and post-consumer textile waste

● Collection, sorting and traceability

● Textile treatment and recycling technologies

● Secondary raw materials

● Reuse and second-life solutions

● Research, testing and technological innovation

● Regulation and the changing policy environment

For senior decision-makers across the professional clothing sector, the delegation offers an opportunity to look beyond the traditional clothing supply chain and engage with the companies, technologies and expertise that could help address some of the industry’s most difficult circularity challenges.

This may be particularly relevant for organisations considering:

● end-of-life solutions for workwear, uniforms and PPE

● fibre-to-fibre and alternative recycling routes

● designing products for recyclability and longer life

● recovery and take-back programmes

● new recycled and secondary materials

● traceability and data across the product lifecycle

● partnerships with recyclers, technology providers and circular-economy specialists

● the impact of evolving European textile, eco-design and producer-responsibility requirements

A limited hosted delegation for PCIAW members
