GORE Is Named One of the “Best Workplaces in Europe” in 2023 Once Again
At W. L. Gore & Associates, Associate satisfaction is extremely important. In recognition of this, the enterprise was once again named one of Europe’s top employers. Awards were given to the 25 best workplaces in Europe at a ceremony on September 21. With its participating subsidiaries in Germany, France, the UK, and Italy, Gore earned 18th place in the “Best multinational employer” category. In order to be listed as one of the “Best Workplaces in Europe”, companies must have received awards in national competitions in at least three countries.
“The satisfaction of those who work for us, our Associates, is very close to our hearts,” said Nicole Elstermeier, HR Manager for the EMEA region. “It is an important part of our corporate culture that every Associate is given the opportunity and is encouraged to expand the scope of their work, responsibilities, and skills. The enterprise as a whole benefits from the teamwork and abilities of each individual team member. Winning this award affirms that our corporate culture strengthens team spirit among our associates, even in times of transformation.”
The international ranking is carried out by Great Place to Work every year and is based, among other things, on an employee survey. This year, 150 companies were listed, and over one million employees in Europe were surveyed on their experiences at work.
