Hohenstein Webinar: The REACH Directive, Annex XVI & SVHC: Current status & challenges for the textile and footwear industry

Hohenstein are starting their webinar series in 2023 with the topic “REACH“ on Monday, 27 February 2023, at 2 pm. The webinars are free of charge.

APEO, phthalate plasticisers and heavy metals, such as cadmium and lead, are a significant challenge. The list of SVHCs now includes 233 “high concern” chemical substances. Some of these, such as “bisphenols”, are also highly relevant for the textile and footwear sector. Dr Helmut Krause will explain the challenges of this complex topic for our industry and the current status of the REACH Directive.

Dr. Helmut Krause joined Hohenstein in 2022 with more than twenty years of experience in the global consumer goods industry. Focusing on product safety, quality and performance, he has extensive expertise in the chemical management of restricted and banned substances in the supply chain.
