Archroma – a global leader in colour and speciality chemicals towards sustainable solutions presented its Colour Atlas by Archroma® at Première Vision Paris this week. This is the very first colour library for polyester and brings together 1,440 colours for sportswear, athleisure, swimwear, children’s clothing, shoes and fashion and home textiles.

In this context of innovation, Carlin – a pioneer in anticipating trends since 1947 – also presented its selection of trends in active wear – and unveiled the three hottest colours for winter.

Composed of two volumes, the colour atlas allows professionals to quickly compose the palettes they need. The colourful book covers reveal the shades that lie within each book, and each volume’s accordion-fold book design yields quick, intuitive browsing of all colours, allowing for fast creation of mood boards and palettes.

Also available online, the book makes it possible to search for the exact colour of an object or garment using a photo, thanks to its colour on the go search tool. Finally, a simple click on each colour also lets the user know its environmental impact.

The shades within the Colour Atlas are characterized by their excellent resistance to washing – so that they can be easily used for the production of sportswear fabrics, achievability and reproducibility in global production and supply chains, and compliance with the main ecological standards such as bluesign, Oekotex or ZDHC – as well as the specifications of major brands.
