The Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW®) is proud to announce that Andrew Newman, Director of Workforce and Volunteering and Ruth Morris, Uniform Lead for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, are now confirmed to present at the PCIAW® Summit, Networking & Awards on 2nd – 3rd November 2021.
Sponsored by Milliken & Company, the PCIAW® event will take place at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow.
Andrew Newman, alongside Ruth Morris, will jointly speak at the PCIAW® Summit and present the specially designed PCIAW® Key Worker Award, which recognises and offers appreciation to the fierce dedication shown by frontline workers in the pandemic, clothed by the professional clothing industry. As the manufacturers and suppliers of professional clothing stepped up to supply PPE to protect key workers, we now ask you to nominate a key worker who has gone above and beyond the call of duty.
The unprecedented, global pandemic has caused a turbulent and challenging year for the professional clothing industry.
Yvette Ashby, CEO of PCIAW® remarked, “We are now seeing the markets display remarkable signs of recovery. Plimsoll analysts report that despite the challenges, 53% of firms saw a rise in sales, due to their adaptability and flexibility in supplying PPE in times of international shortages”.
This is why PCIAW® is excited to have the honour of welcoming Andrew Newman and Ruth Morris from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as speakers at the PCIAW® Summit, Networking & Awards 2021. The Commonwealth Games is a sporting celebration that brings over 70 countries together to compete and offers the corporatewear market a glimpse into the future with a resurgent demand for branded uniforms.
The highly anticipated PCIAW® Summit, Networking & Awards is the most informative and esteemed event in the professional clothing industry. The PCIAW® would like to take the opportunity to thank our sponsors, Milliken & Company, ANIVEC, CEPEX Tunisia, Size Stream and PDC.
