Invista’s latest P8 technology will be utilized by Fujian Billion Petrochemicals Co., Ltd to provide the quality materials for the new 2.5 million tonne PTA line.
INVISTA Performance Technologies (IPT) have reached an agreement with Fujian Billion Petrochemicals Co., to license INVISTA’s newly developed purified terephthalic acid (PTA) process technology for a brand new PTA line.
The line will consist of a design capacity of 2.5 million metric tonnes per year and is to be installed in Fujian Province, China as of August 2020.
