The Turkish textile industry continues with investments in the face of the coronavirus pandemic and focuses on improving exports.
The International Textile Machinery (ITM) exhibition will be held in Istanbul from 22nd – 25th June 2021 and will display the talent on offer to encourage international investments for innovative new technologies.
The ITM Exhibition 2021 will be hosted by Istanbul Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre and will be visited by thousands of companies and visitors.
The ITM considered the factors behind the Turkish textile industry’s resilience and explained that their robust infrastructure and reliable export market helped to steady the sector throughout the pandemic.
As businesses go through the other side of the pandemic and as the vaccine provides opportunity to return to normality, ITM believes that they are waiting for ITM Exhibition 2021 to decide upon their investments for large machinery to boost production.
“The company officials, who will have the opportunity to observe the latest technological products to be exhibited by the international and domestic exhibitors, will direct their investments by meeting with the experts of the sector. The machines produced for technical textiles, which became even more important during the devastating pandemic period, will attract the attention of visitors. Thanks to the machinery purchases and business partnerships of both domestic and international companies, there will be great dynamism in the textile industry and the national economy,” the exhibition organisers conclude.
