ITMACH India to bring latest textile tech to investors

The third edition of International Textile Machinery & Accessories (ITMACH) India will be held from 5th-8th December in Gujarat.

It will demonstrate the latest textile technologies and machinery to the Indian textile industry. This show will be even more significant as it will sits amongst the largest textile machinery shows being organised in India.

Large amounts of modern technologies will be on display, that were recently demonstrated at ITMA in Barcelona. The Indian textile industry now has the opportunity to experience world-class textile manufacturing technology, all under one roof.

The world’s leading weaving machinery and technology supplier Picanol will be showcasing Airjet Omniplus – i loom with Smartshed which will be displayed working on denim fabric with warp beam from Arvind Mills.

The Indian textile industry continuously invests in innovation and technology upgrades. The backbone of the textile industry is the spinning sector which has lately been facing tight demands due to the US-China trade war, China’s trade agreements with Pakistan and Vietnam as well as high domestic cotton prices. This has all resulted in slower investment in the spinning sector.

The US-China trade war has, however, bought some new opportunities to the weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing and wet processing and garment sector. Global brands and retailers have begun to look for Indian suppliers with state-of-the-art technology.

Some leading investors in the yarn manufacturing sector include Indian Oil Corporation, Indorama Industries, Shekhawati Geotech, Arvind Dyeing & Bleaching, Vedha Spinning Mills, Filatex India ltd, Sudhan Spinning Mills etc.

In the weaving sector, investors include BMD Pvt ltd, Shakti Polyweave, Siyaram Silk Mills, Shri Velayundhaswamy Spinning Mills, Balar Synthetics and many more.

In processing, some of the IEMS are from Shri Narayan Fabrics, Parshwa Texprint, Panorama Printing, Ichalkaranji Powerloom Mega Cluster.
