We will also be highlighting the societal issues that exist within the textile manufacturing sector. Emerging evidence from Labour Behind the Label, reinforces the need for the government to invest in the economy of the professional clothing industry, to fully ensure that slave labour and any derivation thereof, does not continue as a prevalent and sustained practise in the UK.
Reports such as these highlight the clear need for transparency across the industry and that is something we hope to achieve with this amalgamation of knowledge on offer through this Webinar.
