What is Naia™ Renew?
Naia™ Renew is Eastman’s circular cellulosic fibre made from 60% sustainably sourced wood pulp and 40% certified recycled waste material. Eastman states that the recycled content is allocated through a GRS-certified mass balance process, using hard-to-recycle waste as feedstock while retaining the performance of cellulose acetate fibre.
The fibre is used across apparel and home-textile applications and is available in filament and staple forms. Eastman also describes Naia™ Renew as produced through a closed-loop process designed to reduce resource use and lifecycle carbon impact compared with conventional Naia™ products.
