Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its local partner Tezulaş Fuar are postponing the leading trade fair for Turkish Occupational Safety and Health – TOS+H EXPO in Istanbul due to the effects of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). It will now take place from 11 to 14 July 2020.
It is in close cor-ordination with the Turkish Ministry of family, Labour and Social Services that this date has been found.
In doing so, Messe Düsseldorf is following the recommendation of the crisis management team of the Turkish Ministry of Health and the german Federal Government taking into account the principles of the Robert Koch institute when assessing the risk of major events.
Based on this recommendation and the recent significant increase in the number of infected persons, including in Europe, Messe Düsseldorf and its partners have jointly reassessed the situation. Added to this is the complicated travel situation, especially for international customers.

Dornscheidt, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, is encouraged by the general consensus in this special situation: ‘We would like to thank all our partners for their co-operation in making these difficult decisions. We are pleased that together a date was found so quickly in order to allow all those affected to reliably plan.’
Parallel to TOS+H Expo, the 10th international Congress on Occupational Safety and Health, organised by the Turkish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, will also be postponed.
