A new opportunity has arisen, with a gap in the market for a textile technology degree, a new survey is making the rounds in the hopes that a university will support the degree.

With the survey to help a new textile technology undergraduate degree, we are looking if there is an appetite for such a course to be added to universities.

There is currently no textile technology undergraduate course in the UK, and there hasn’t been for many years. It has become apparent that there is an unfulfilled gap in the courses currently available. However, we need to gather industry support to get this course picked up.

This is where you come in!
Please follow the link here, all submissions must be completed by Friday 29th April.

A new course could be created at a UK university to specialise in textile technology (with the title of such a course to be decided). This course could be a 3 year course or a 4 year course (with a year out in industry) leading to a BSc Hons degree.

Let’s support the next generation by filling out the survey to help a new textile technology undergraduate degree course come to fruition.
