PCA VISION is a competition of global proportions, enriching the educational opportunities of student designers by nurturing talent and ingenuity in creative and practical ways.
This year, PCIAW® embarked on an international quest to find one student to re-design the face of professional clothing.
PCA VISION is an exciting challenge for students of fashion, textiles and design to express their unique creative flair in the most original way to meet the contest judging criteria.

We’re proud to say that all of our design submissions were imaginative, commercially realistic, practical and inspirationally sustainable.
We received entries from all over the world, with the following institutions shortlisted: Bedford College, North Carolina State University, De Montfort University, and Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa!
Congratulations to the PCA VISION finalists of 2021:
Jasmine Young, Laura Bryson, Shania Fourmy, Chloe Marsh, Mariana Soares and Kori Hyer!

They were proudly displayed in a stylish, star-studded catwalk during the twelfth annual PCIAW® Awards at the Hilton London Metropole on 3rd November 2021.

Our prestigious PCA VISION Student Design competition was hosted by Harold Tillman CBE, Enterprise and Business Advisor at the London College of Fashion and César Araújo, CEO of Calvelex, President of Portugal’s National Association of Clothing and Apparel Industry and PCIAW® Board Director.
Our panel of expert judges had a difficult task choosing an overall winner from our group of fantastic finalists, but there was definitely one clear winner.
A massive congratulations to our winner, Jasmine Young, from Bedford College, UK, for designing a wonderfully creative Aerospace Engineer garment.

She was awarded a diamond trophy, custom winners certificate, and a £1000 cheque proudly administered by the PCIAW®.
Congratulations to all of our shortlisted finalists and we’ll see everyone again next year!
