PCIAW® Exhibition to highlight industry leaders in professional clothing design and manufacturing
The Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW®) is excited to be showcasing the businesses at the forefront of the professional clothing industry through the PCIAW® Exhibition, taking place alongside the Summit and Awards from the 8th– 9th November at the award-winning Alfandega Congress Centre in Porto, Portugal.
Exhibitors will be representing companies from across the professional clothing industry, displaying design-led uniforms, functional workwear, and lifesaving personal protective equipment (PPE). The exhibition will also highlight the digital technologies enabling the development of Industry 4.0 solutions that will have a productive impact on the way we manufacture goods.
Alongside innovators in technology, the exhibition will also give a platform to companies at the forefront of professional clothing innovation, with solutions for manufacturing garments in a circular economy, increasing the stability of the supply chain, and establishing nearshore partnerships.
Global networking opportunities at the PCIAW® Exhibition
The PCIAW® Exhibition will take place from 1:30pm – 5:00pm on the 8th of November, and from 1:30pm – 4:00pm on the 9th of November 2023. PCIAW® is taking the Exhibition into Europe for the first time, allowing attendees to build bridges internationally and take advantage of collaborative opportunities in our global community.
There will be 20 exhibitors from across the professional clothing industry present, with time to meet them all across the two days of the event.

Nearshore manufacturing solutions from Portugal and Tunisia
In the drive towards nearshore manufacturing, the PCIAW® Exhibition will host PCIAW® partners from Portugal and Tunisia. As the professional clothing association, PCIAW® is forging links with ANIVEC, the Portuguese Apparel and Clothing Association, who are proudly sponsoring the PCIAW® Summit, Exhibition & Awards for the seventh year running.
CEPEX, the Tunisian-based Export Promotion Agency are supporting their high-quality professional clothing manufacturers to showcase their nearshore skillsets. The PCIAW® and its network already have a close relationship with Tunisian manufacturers, with demonstrations of excellence across the uniform, workwear, and PPE markets.

Access to the PCIAW® Exhibition is included in the PCIAW® Summit & Exhibition ticket, available for purchase on our website today. The Summit & Exhibition is one part of the greater 2023 PCIAW® Summit, Exhibition & Awards, which takes place from the 7th – 9th of November.
The PCIAW® Summit will shed light on the upcoming challenges facing the professional clothing industry, such as incoming sustainability legislation, supply chain disruption, and firefighter PPE safety, whilst giving a platform to the innovations making strides in circular textile technologies and responsible manufacturing.
The PCIAW® Awards is a celebration of innovation and dedication to the professional clothing industry, recognising talent and excellence in businesses and individuals. The Awards begin with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course gala dinner and an evening of entertainment.
The PCIAW® Summit, Exhibition & Awards event takes place over three days from 7 – 9 November 2023.
- 7 November – Textile and apparel factory tours for delegates arranged by ANIVEC the Portuguese association for clothing and apparel, who is a long-term partner of PCIAW®.
- 8 November – PCIAW® Summit Part 1 begins at 9:00am until 1:30pm followed by a networking lunch. The PCIAW® Exhibition begins at 1:30pm until 5pm.
- 9 November – PCIAW® Summit Part 2 begins at 9:00am until 1:00pm. The PCIAW® Exhibition begins at 1:00pm until 4pm.
- 9 November – PCIAW® Awards begins with a champagne reception at 6:00pm followed by a three-course gala dinner. The PCIAW® Awards ceremony begins at 7:30pm until 10:00pm, complete with an evening of networking and entertainment.
