On 7-9 November 2023, it will be the first time the annual Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW®) event is being hosted in Portugal and will be located at the award-winning venue – Alfandega Congress Centre, Porto, Portugal – on the bank of the iconic Douro River.
The PCIAW® is proud to announce that ticket sales for this year’s event have been exceptional, and almost all available seats have been sold. For this reason, tables of 10 have been taken off the website to preserve capacity for a little while longer, so all companies considering attending the event are encouraged to book their place today while tickets are available.
The PCIAW® Summit 2023 brings together professionals across the uniform, workwear and PPE supply chain for two days of insights from industry experts, seminars, and panels centred around the theme “The New Trajectory of Professional Clothing.” Speakers from organisations like ETSA, EURATEX and more will share perspectives on the future of new ESG-focused legislation, circularity & sustainability, revolutionary digital technologies, and innovation in the global professional clothing industry.
The Summit will be followed by the PCIAW® Exhibition from November 8-9, spotlighting innovations in digital manufacturing, breakthroughs in textile sustainability, leading uniform designers, premium North African manufacturing partners and more.

The PCIAW® Awards is a celebration of innovation and dedication to the professional clothing industry, recognising talent and excellence in businesses and individuals. The Awards begin with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course gala dinner and an evening of entertainment.
The PCIAW® Summit, Exhibition & Awards event takes place over three days from 7 – 9 November 2023.
- 7 November – Textile and apparel factory tours for delegates arranged by ANIVEC the Portuguese association for clothing and apparel, who is a long-term partner of PCIAW®.
- 8 November – PCIAW® Summit Part 1 begins at 9:00am until 1:30pm followed by a networking lunch. The PCIAW® Exhibition begins at 1:30pm until 5pm.
- 9 November – PCIAW® Summit Part 2 begins at 9:00am until 1:00pm. The PCIAW® Exhibition begins at 1:00pm until 4pm.
- 9 November – PCIAW® Awards begins with a champagne reception at 6:00pm followed by a three-course gala dinner. The PCIAW® Awards ceremony begins at 7:30pm until 10:00pm, complete with an evening of networking and entertainment.
