The Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW®) is proud to announce its role in organising a delegation of Fire & Rescue services to INTERSCHUTZ 2026, the world’s premier trade fair for fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety, and security. This folllows on from the educational round tables hosted over the years with industry stakeholders and end-user services.
Taking place in Hannover, Germany, from 1–6 June 2026, under the theme “Safeguarding Tomorrow,” INTERSCHUTZ will serve as the global stage for the latest innovations in firefighting technology, protective equipment, and emergency response strategies.
Enhancing Collaboration and Representation
Following recent round table discussions, bringing together industry and end-user fire and rescue services over the last two years, PCIAW® is committing to improving the experience and representation of UK services at the event. The delegation will provide a structured 3.5-day program designed to facilitate high-level collaboration between Fire Chiefs, decision-makers, and the global supply chain.

Key Initiatives for 2026:
- Firefighter Safety & PPE: A central pillar of the delegation’s mission remains the critical challenges of protective clothing, including thermal and particulate protection, and the specific requirements for female-fit PPE.
- Strategic Education: PCIAW® will provide access to high-level knowledge sharing, including the FEU Leadership Conference, to address the evolving technical landscape of climate resilience and digital transformation in the fire sector.
- Targeted Networking: The delegation will facilitate direct connections between end-user fire and rescue services in attendance, fostering a more valuable experience through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving within a unified UK group.
