Founded as a family business in 1991, INVICTUS is now a mature share-holding company, with a full range of manufacturing capabilities and services for direct buyers and end users. INVICTUS supplies clients through public tenders, B2B collaborations and direct retail sales.
The company is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, a NATO NCAGE supplier and authorised trader of military / dual-use products.
INVICTUS’ machines and devices used in their manufacturing process are always next-generation, with the majority of their machines purchased in the last 10 years, with a considerable number of new machines from the last 3 years, including a laser cutting device, a full array of presses for suits, emboidery machines and more.
The products they manufacture:
- Combat and service clothing: suits, caps, jackets, trousers, shirts, t-shirts;
- Bespoke garments: officers’s suits, ceremonial uniforms, peaked caps;
- Protective apparel: flame-retardant, waterproof, thermal insulation;
- Special gear: ballistic vests, CBRN suits.
INVICTUS offer the following services:
- PRE-PRODUCTION: concept and design, CAD Gemini – pattern/grading making or adjustment, optimised cut planning, sampling, accessories sourcing;
- PRODUCTION: cutting and sewing, special stitching and accessories operations, pressing, trimming, embroidery, screen printing;
- POST-PRODUCTION: labelling, strict quality control in design, purchase and production stages (interim and 100%), AQL-type inspection, packaging, delivery logistics;
- ADDITIONAL SERVICE: in-house ISO 17025 accredited laboratory for fabric testing in sister company.
INVICTUS’ main market is the Romanian public sector, servicing a large share of personnel in: the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs (Police, Border Police, Gendarmerie & Fire Brigade), Ministry of Justice (Penitentiaries), Ministry of Finance, special forces and local public authorities.
INVICTUS is becoming more integrated with the wider European market too, delivering several contracts for design and manufacturing services with clients in France, Poland, Denmark, Norway and UK.
INVICTUS is ISO 14001 certified, implementing several common actions for environmental protection. The latest investment consists of solar panels, that cover 40% of INVICTUS’ current electricity consumption (as of December 2024), with an investment on the way (second half of 2025) to triple this output.
The company has a strict internal policy adhering to the ISO 45001 standard and a non-acceptance policy regarding any sort of discrimination. The company has also taken specific action to support employees with visible and non-visible disabilities, increasing the number of such personnel up to 3% in 2025.
