Promoting Careers and Skills in Professional Clothing

The PCIAW® Round Table Series on ‘Promoting Careers and Skills in Professional Clothing’ will connect universities with industry to create opportunities for students to learn about the prospects of working in the uniform, workwear and PPE markets and to help students gain the experience of touring factory floors.

Professional clothing isn’t unique in its struggle to recruit enough skills, as ageing workforces retire with insufficient numbers of students qualifying to replace them. PCIAW® is seeking to support the professional clothing industry to compete with not just fashion, but every other sector from warehousing to hospitality.
