PCIAW | PCIAW News | Rock Fall Safety Boots expands range for Emergency Services Sector

Recognising the size of demand in the Emergency Services sector both domestically and overseas, Rock Fall Safety Boots has developed a range of patrol and uniform boots designed for day wear, which they have recently supplemented with a highly durable but formal shoe. It features a FORCE10® Solid Nitrile Rubber sole unit which is tested to extraordinary abrasion and heat performance levels.

The RF111 Graphene is now available in sizes UK 3-16 – including half sizes for 6.5 10.5, which is the equivalent of European 40 and 45. The range sits amongst five different styles, with Rock Fall starting to develop a range of highly specialist and innovate styles for the different environments faced by the Frontline Emergency Services.

The senior management team anticipate that the new styles will launch throughout late 2020 and into 2021.

Speaking about the developments, Matthew Noon, Rock Fall Director commented, “The RF111 Graphene is a great development for us, it’s incredibly comfortable from the first wear and we anticipate that due to the sole unit it could last 3-5 years when looked after by wearers in the emergency services sector. It’s important to us that we do all we can for these industries as they provide the frontline public services that help us feel safe and secure, maintaining our way of life. Some of the new developments we are working on now are incredibly exciting we’re including components that stop blood penetration, provide unbelievable heat insulation properties and improve performance. We are optimistic that we will also be able to reduce costs for these public sector organisations too.”
