Shield360 has developed a washable snood which is manufactured in the UK and delivered in biodegradable packaging. The sustainability benefits include: extremely low carbon footprint as both the fabric and finished goods are made at the same factory facility in England, and as well as being re-usable / washable, the snoods are delivered plastic free.
This was originally manufactured for transport companies giving staff a snood to cover up their faces on the way to and from work – over 30,000 have already been dispatched. The snoods are suitable for any sector and are available in corporate colours with black & navy as standard, and options for bespoke / dyed-to-match fabric along with logo and branding options are available.
The snoods have also been developed in high visibility orange and yellow colourways, so they can be worn together with PPE and workwear across all industries.
With the UK government’s announcement that face coverings should now be worn in shops by the general public, it has never been clearer that all staff, working in ANY enclosed environment, should be protected by their employers and provided with face coverings.
