Simon Jersey limited, a subsidiary of the Uniform Brands Group, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of uniforms with more than 45 years’ experience, has selected PrimaNet from Loughborough based Prima Solutions as their ERP application.
PrimaNet will be implemented across all aspects of their UK and International businesses. Prima were awarded the contract after demonstrating their expertise in the corporate clothing and workwear market including extensive functionality and exceptional reputation across their existing Customer base.
Simon Jersey uniforms can be seen being worn on every high street in the UK, as well as being worn by staff of some of the world’s biggest brands. These include Nando’s, Euro-wings and ISS. Simon Jersey is well recognised in the industry and continues to grow in their market sector. In addition, they recently signed a new contract to supply uniforms for Virgin Money Stores and Lounges across the UK. They provide everything, from fully bespoke ranges created by their own in-house design team, to more than 800 off-the peg catalogue designs and even a combination of both to meet their clients’ needs.
It’s this approach to innovative uniform solutions that led them to be appointed as Team GB’s official suiting supplier for the 2018 Winter Olympics. The company is the only formalwear supplier to be picked by Team GB for multiple Olympic Games thanks to the quality of their designs and ability to unite the most diverse of athlete body shapes through uniform.
Simon Jersey will be taking the full PrimaNet suite of software, including Wardrobe Management for enhanced customer service experience and the Warehouse Management System to streamline warehouse operations with the scalability needed to seamlessly handle increased warehouse throughput as the business expands.
John Leonard, Group IT Director for the Uniform Brands Group, stated that “it was important for us to work in partnership with an industry expert who understands this unique and highly competitive market sector.
