Texon – a leader in the development of structural components and high-performance materials that make a sustainable difference to footwear, accessories and functional apparel – has appointed a new Regional Sales Director. Norbert Nieleck joins the business to help drive growth across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Appointed to lead Texon’s EMEA sales and key account management teams, Norbert will help strengthen the company’s long-term relationships with its EU-based customers, which include many of the biggest names in the footwear industry. He will also work closely with Texon’s distributors across the region to maximise business development opportunities.

Norbert is highly experienced at working at General Manager and President level for global businesses. Early in his career, Norbert spent almost 13 years at Avery Dennison, finishing his time there as Director of Sales for Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
He then spent eight years with Velcro Companies culminating in the role of President & VP Sales/Marketing for Velcro EMEA. Most recently Norbert worked with Gottlieb Binder as Director of Global Sales. Norbert will be based in Germany.
