Tracksmith and Polartec expand collaboration on fleece for running

In 2018, Tracksmith, the running apparel brand guided by the needs of competitive runners, and Polartec, the premium provider of innovative and sustainable textile solutions, collaborated on the first performance fleece jackets designed specifically for running.

Inspired by cross country and marathon season, when you have to will yourself out the door into freezing air, the Franklin Fleece was created for high output training in cold weather. This season, Tracksmith expands upon its Franklin Fleece full zip with more cold weather staples: a quarter snap, mittens, hats and ear warmers.

Utilising Polartec’s extremely soft, bluesign® and OEKO-TEX®-certified Classic fleece, Tracksmith selected the original technical fleece known for its premium quality, lightweight warmth, and fast-drying breathability.

Polartec’s Classic fleece series remains the industry standard, and allows you to take some of the cosiness of home on a cold run and comfortably keep it on as you negative split your way back.
