Sister company, Shirley® (Europe), in Ireland is Notified Body no. 2895, awarding CE marking for the PPE Regulation, (EU) 2016/425. Through only one assessment, BTTG® and Shirley® offer both UKCA and CE marking, enabling manufacturers to sell their product in the EU and the United Kingdom.
Shirley® now offers both targeted PFAS analysis using advanced chromatography (HPLC-MS/MS and CI-GC-MS/MS), alongside innovative total/extractable fluorine testing by combustion Ion chromatography (CIC). This provides our clients with the detailed information needed to make proactive decisions about the challenges ahead due to escalating REACH and POPS legislations.
