Fristads continues to expand its e-commerce business in the European market with a new web shop in Germany. The new shop offers Fristads’ full range of workwear as well as the Outdoor collection and brings the total number of web shops to four.
“This is a natural evolution of our digital journey,” says Anders Hülse, Managing Director of Fristads. “It is a complement to our business-to-business sales that gives our customers a broader range of products to choose from.”
Fristads opened its first web shop in 2018 in Sweden, with Finland following suit in the spring of 2021 and Denmark in the autumn of 2021. The German shop is the latest addition to Fristads’ online business, having opened their virtual doors last autumn. All the shops offer both Fristads’ workwear and Outdoor collections. The web shops also feature useful content such as size guides, a care & repair section, information about certifications and inspirational storeys.
“The greatest advantage about establishing a presence online is that it improves brand awareness. The web shops will help people find us and learn more about our products, which is a positive thing for our dealers as well,” said Sofia Wackling, Global Marketing Manager at Fristads.
“Another benefit of having e-commerce sites is that it drives the development of digital solutions for our dealers. As we develop the web shops, we are constantly learning and improving to make the experience in the logged-in view more user-friendly too,” Wackling added.
