A message to all event delegates from our Premier Sponsor, Workwear Uniform Group Ltd (WWUGL), for the 2024 PCIAW® Summit, Exhibition & Awards in Birmingham, setting the stage for two days of innovation and collaboration in professional clothing.

Workwear Uniform Group Ltd (WWUGL) is proud to take its place as the premier sponsor of the 2024 PCIAW® Summit, Exhibition & Awards. Hosting this prestigious event in Birmingham, a stone’s throw away from our Oldbury headquarters, is our chance to welcome the world to the best of British textiles, underscoring our connection to the region and bringing this global association to our doorstep.
Since assuming leadership in August 2023, I’ve been impressed by the dedication and ingenuity of our team. Together, we’ve established WWUGL as a leader in professional clothing solutions. Our journey, marked by a £100m annual turnover and a growing global presence, is a testament to the trust our clients place in our brands across various sectors.
The summit’s theme, “Aligning industry innovation,” resonates strongly with our mission. At WWUGL, we understand that every piece of uniform, workwear, or PPE we produce is inspired by the progress of our industry as a whole. Professional clothing is not just a matter of brand awareness, but is crucial for safety, comfort, and professionalism in the workplace. Events such as these provide an excellent opportunity to showcase how pioneers in our industry can make a global impact, and provides attendees with an opportunity to learn about the next big idea which will transform their business.
My 24-year journey in this sector has been one of continuous learning and growth, adapting to changing economic climates and riding the waves of global events like the Covid-19 pandemic. This experience has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the technical skill and knowledge base that goes into the foundations of professional clothing design, and I am thrilled that WWUGL can be part of the mission to spread that knowledge for the benefit of our industry.
As we gather in Birmingham, I extend an invitation to all attendees to engage with our expert panels and exhibitor workshops, learning from the experts defining professional clothing. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing we can envision a better, safer, and greener future for professional clothing. In doing so, we’re not just advancing an industry – we’re enhancing the lives of all the people we clothe, keeping them safe and supported, one garment at a time.
