Sounds simple doesn’t it?
Everyone has a corporate identity, it’s the image you put on for work. And it doesn’t matter if that work is as a professional sports person, a waiter, a petrol pump attendant, a banker or a hairdresser. The PCIAW® spans the breadth of the entire supply chain involved in the manufacture and supply to achieve that final look that everyone associates with so many various professions.
It doesn’t even have to be a full-blown uniform ensemble, it can be as simple as a badge, a tie, a scarf, the colour of the fabric in an item of clothing.
It is what links you to the rest of the team.
In the term supply chain, the chain is the link connecting:

  • The source of raw materials;
  • The factories where those materials are made in to garments; and
  • The distribution network by which the clothes are delivered to the end wearer.

Whatever phase of the Supply Chain Journey (diagram below) you fall in to, you are exactly who the PCIAW® is for and together we will be a stronger voice for the industry.
